Idols of deities like Lord Shiva, Lord Ram, Sita, Hanuman, Lakshman, Jagannath, Tirupati Balaji, Radha-Krishna, and Ayyappa have been installed in the grand Hindu temple being built in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The temple is a great example of beauty, workmanship, and craftsmanship. The Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate this magnificent Hindu temple on 14 February 2024.

Features of BAPS Hindu temple

The temple complex is made of white marble, and magnificently painted sculptures of deities are carved on each pillar.
The highest peak in the seven-storey temple is the “Dome”, which houses the earth, water, fire, wind, and sky.
The temple complex has been built by Shapoorji Pallonji Group, a 159-year-old Indian-origin company with global divisions.
The seven shikharas are enlivened with sculptures of Shiva-Parvati, Radha-Krishna, Ram-Sita-Lakshman-Hanuman, and Ganapati, using bamboo and glass instead of iron and steel.

A special feature of the sculpture in the temple is that the entire part is made of pink sand stone of Rajasthan, which makes it look especially beautiful and attractive.
The architecture and cultural perspective of the temple shows that it has a unique amalgamation of the five elements, and seeing this, a person connects his soul with them.
Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan donated 27 acres of land for this Hindu temple.
