Who is Manoj Jarange Patil?
The leader of the Maratha community in Maharashtra is 41-year-old Manoj Jarange Patil, a resident of Matori village in Beed district. Manoj Jarange Patil has studied till the 12th. He works at a hotel in Jalna. Initially, he was a Congress worker but later he formed the Shiv Bas organization for the Maratha community.
Manoj Jarange Patil also gave his land to collect funds for the Maratha reservation movement. He has protested 35 times for reservations since 2011.
